Feedback Inbox

The Feedback Inbox is a slide-out panel on the right side of your dashboard that shows all recent volunteer feedback from the past two weeks. It’s open by default so you see what’s happening the moment you log in.

How It Works

Every time a volunteer checks in and shares feedback, it appears in the Feedback Inbox. Each entry shows the volunteer’s name, their team, the feedback sentiment (Great, Good, Fine, or Difficult), and any note they included.

The inbox covers the last two weeks of feedback, so you always have a current window into how your team is feeling.

Filtering

You can filter the inbox by sentiment and by team to focus on what matters most. For example, filter to “Difficult” to see only the feedback that needs attention, or filter to a specific team to check in on how that group is doing.

Opening and Closing

The inbox is open by default when you visit the dashboard. You can close it to get more screen space — when closed, a floating button appears in the top-right corner showing the number of recent feedback items. Click it to reopen.

On mobile, the inbox works the same way but takes the full screen width when open.

What to Look For

  • Difficult feedback — These need follow-up. If someone had a hard time serving, reach out. (See Caring for Your Team for the full follow-up workflow.)
  • Notes with context — When volunteers take the time to write a note, it’s worth reading. These often surface issues or wins that the sentiment alone doesn’t capture.
  • Patterns by team — If one team consistently has lower sentiment, that’s a signal worth exploring with the team lead.
